G4 Tequila Reposado from Jalisco, Mexico is crafted by the Carlos Camarena family (Empresa Tequilera de Arandas) using sustainably grown 100 % blue agave from the red volcanic soils around Los Altos and the Highlands of Jalisco, where meticulous field selection and long maturation in the ground develop rich, sweet plant sugars. After slow steaming of the piñas and fermentation with natural yeasts, the spirit is distilled and rested in oak barrels for a few months, which softens the agave’s brightness and adds nuance. On the nose it offers warm aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, toasted oak and a hint of citrus. The palate is smooth and balanced with notes of caramel, light honey, baking spice and gentle oak, finishing with a soft warmth and clean agave expression. This reposado is excellent sipped neat or on the rocks and pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, citrus-dressed salads, soft cheeses like queso fresco, roasted pork, tacos al pastor, or dishes featuring bright herbs and lime.
