2023 Mignanelli Fifty Fifty Pinot Noir

Fifty Fifty represents a collaboration of two well-renowned appellations, Santa Lucia Highlands and Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir. 

Santa Lucia Highlands is home to one of the vineyards that Wine Enthusiast named a California "Grand Cru" vineyard, as a recognition of the locations that produce the highest-quality wine grapes. The Santa Lucia Highlands AVA (also known as ‘SLH’) is located in the Santa Lucia Mountains, right above what is well-known as an agricultural mecca, the Salinas Valley in Monterey County.

The Santa Cruz Mountains became a recognized AVA in 1981 and was one of the first appellations to be defined by its mountainous topography. The mountainous terrain, the Pacific Ocean, and the nearby San Francisco Bay have wide-ranging effects on the appellation, creating a plethora of micro-climates, ultimately defining the regions terroir. This region are not only influenced by the elevation of the land, but coastal fog, bright sunshine & vast soil types.

Standout flavors and aromas of cranberry and cherry with subtle spice are followed by a soft, elegant finish.
