Cazcanes No.9 Tequila Rosa Blanco, Jalisco, Mexico

Cazcanes No. 9 Tequila Rosa Blanco is produced in Jalisco, Mexico by the Cazcanes family using traditionally grown 100% blue Weber agave cultivated at high elevation for slow ripening and concentration. The agave is cooked slowly, fermented naturally, and double distilled with minimal intervention, then lightly rested in wine barrels, which give the tequila its subtle pink hue without overpowering the agave character. On the nose it shows cooked agave, red berries, light floral notes, citrus peel, and a hint of soft spice. The palate is clean and expressive, with sweet agave, strawberry and raspberry tones, gentle minerality, and a smooth, lingering finish that remains bright and fresh. It is excellent sipped neat or slightly chilled and pairs beautifully with seafood ceviche, grilled shrimp, citrus-marinated fish, soft cheeses, or dishes featuring fresh herbs and acidity.
