The 2024 Philippe Bouzereau Bourgogne Blanc is an elegant, organically farmed Chardonnay sourced from select vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, crafted by a ninth-generation Meursault producer known for expressing terroir with precision and restraint.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels with only a modest proportion of new oak, the wine balances richness with freshness while avoiding excessive oak influence.
The nose is expressive, offering aromas of white peach, pear, citrus blossom, toasted almond, hazelnut, and acacia, framed by subtle mineral notes.
On the palate it is beautifully textured, combining vibrant acidity with flavors of orchard fruit, gentle creaminess, and a refined chalky minerality that carries through a long, elegant finish.
A classic white Burgundy of finesse and balance, it pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, lobster, scallops, grilled fish, creamy pasta, and soft-ripened cheeses.
