2024 Karas Kraki Ktor, Syrah Volcanic

Karas Wines, located in Armenia’s Armavir region, is a family-owned estate dedicated to sustainable farming and the revival of Armenia’s ancient winemaking heritage through modern technology.

Karas Kraki Ktor (a piece of fire) Volcanic Soil red dry wine is made from Syrah grape variety grown in Armavir region.

Soil: Volcanic soil. Sandy loam structure. Presence of basalt stones with calcareous profiles well incorporated to the structure of the soil. The soil at the base of volcanoes is fertile. It is full of minerals, and vines that grow on them produce wines rich in texture and flavour.

The wine is characterized by good complexity and balance, accompanied by a general freshness. It is also incredibly age worthy.
