2024 Assuli Baglio Zibibbo Dardinello

The 2024 Assuli Baglio “Dardinello” Zibibbo is a bright, aromatic Sicilian white made from 100% Zibibbo (Muscat of Alexandria), grown in the sun-drenched vineyards around Mazara del Vallo on the island’s western coast.

Produced organically and fermented in stainless steel with short lees aging, it emphasizes freshness and varietal purity rather than weight. The wine opens with an expressive nose of peach, apricot, citrus zest, and delicate floral notes, with a subtle muscat perfume in the background.

On the palate it is dry yet softly textured, combining lively acidity with a rounded feel, showing flavors of stone fruit, lemon, and a distinct saline-mineral edge that reflects its coastal terroir, finishing clean, fresh, and slightly aromatic. Light to medium in body and highly versatile, it pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, salads, light pasta dishes, and Mediterranean appetizers, best served well chilled to highlight its vibrancy and lift.
