2023 Domaine Louis Moreau Chablis

The 2023 Domaine Louis Moreau Chablis is crafted by the Moreau family, one of Chablis’s historic growers, who farm their vineyards sustainably on classic Kimmeridgian limestone soils with a focus on precision and purity. The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay, gently pressed and fermented mainly in stainless steel with some time on fine lees to preserve freshness and highlight the mineral character of the terroir. It shows aromas of green apple, lemon zest, white flowers, and crushed oyster shell. On the palate it is crisp and linear, with bright acidity, citrus and orchard fruit flavors, a pronounced chalky minerality, and a clean, refreshing finish. This Chablis pairs beautifully with oysters and shellfish, grilled or poached white fish, sushi, goat cheese, and light vegetable dishes.
