2023 Domaine de l'Aumonier Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, Loire, France

The 2023 Domaine de l’Aumonier Touraine Sauvignon Blanc comes from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in eastern Touraine, planted on soils of clay, limestone, flint, sand, and silt. The wine is fermented on native yeasts and raised in stainless steel, with no fining and only light filtration at bottling.

Aromas of citrus, white fruit, and exotic fruit are balanced with a fresh, mineral-driven palate that feels both round and crisp, finishing with persistence.

 It pairs beautifully with seafood, goat cheeses (especially Loire-style), grilled chicken, or exotic dishes, and is best served chilled around 46 °F.
