The 2023 Collovray & Terrier La Closerie des Lys “Les Fruitières” Pinot Noir from IGP Pays d’Oc is crafted by Christian Collovray and Jean-Luc Terrier, Burgundian winemakers who focus on cooler, high-elevation vineyards in the Limoux area to preserve freshness and finesse.

The Pinot Noir is grown on hillside sites with a strong emphasis on balance, moderate yields, and careful vineyard management to highlight purity of fruit. In the cellar, the wine is vinified to retain freshness and elegance, with gentle extraction to preserve the grape’s delicate aromatics and fine tannin structure. 

Aromatically, it shows ripe cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, and subtle floral notes, layered with hints of spice, forest floor, and a touch of savory earth.

On the palate it is fresh, juicy, and medium-bodied, with bright acidity, supple tannins, and flavors of red berries, soft herbs, and gentle pepper leading to a clean, elegant finish. It pairs well with charcuterie, roast chicken, duck, grilled pork, mushroom dishes, or soft cheeses, and can be enjoyed slightly chilled to enhance its vibrant, fruit-driven character.
