The 2023 Château Carbonneau “La Franc Touch” Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux is a vibrant and modern expression of 100% Cabernet Franc, grown on the clay-limestone soils of Bordeaux's eastern Right Bank.

Crafted with native yeast fermentation, a short maceration, partial whole-cluster fermentation, and aged for 4–6 months in older French oak barrels, it emphasizes freshness, purity, and varietal character over oak influence.

The nose is lifted and expressive, offering aromas of fresh red cherry, raspberry, violet, mint, and subtle spice. On the palate it is medium-bodied and energetic, with bright acidity, silky tannins, and juicy red fruit framed by delicate herbal notes and a fine mineral backbone.

The finish is long, fresh, and elegant, making it an exceptionally versatile food wine that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, charcuterie, roasted vegetables, Asian-inspired dishes, and semi-aged cheeses.
