2023 Caruso & Minini Perricone Sicilia IGT

The 2023 Caruso & Minini Perricone is a striking expression of one of Sicily’s historic native grape varieties, crafted from 100% Perricone grown in the sun-drenched vineyards of western Sicily.

Fermented in stainless steel and aged for six months in tank before additional bottle maturation, it preserves the grape’s vibrant fruit and distinctive personality.

The nose is rich and inviting, offering aromas of wild blackberry, ripe cherry, plum, violet, and licorice, with subtle hints of Mediterranean herbs and spice. 

On the palate it is medium- to full-bodied, combining velvety texture with lively acidity and refined tannins that frame flavors of dark berries, black pepper, and earthy minerality.

The finish is long, fresh, and savory, making it an excellent partner for grilled tuna, swordfish, roasted meats, Sicilian pasta dishes, charcuterie, and aged cheeses
