100% Chardonnay grown in a limestone-clay soil from vineyards in Viré-Clessé and west of the village of Mâcon. The "La Crochette" is vinified in stainless steel tanks to maximize floral notes and fruitiness, making it a fresh, vibrant and classic Mâcon-Villages.
This wine is produced by the family-owned Maison Jean Loron, which specializes in Mâconnais and Beaujolais, with the 2022 vintage receiving recognition for its quality at the International Wine Challenge.
Crisp, light-to-medium-bodied with aromas of acacia, citrus, and quince, and a palate of white peach and green apple. Ideal for light salads, seafood, goats cheese, or as an aperitif.
