The 2020 Louis Jadot Meursault Genevrières Premier Cru is crafted by the historic Maison Louis Jadot from Chardonnay grown on the limestone-rich slopes of the famed Les Genevrières vineyard in Meursault.

The vines benefit from excellent southern exposure, producing fruit of great concentration and finesse.

The wine opens with elegant aromas of white flowers, ripe pear, lemon curd, and toasted hazelnut, accented by subtle oak spice.

On the palate it is rich yet precise, with layers of stone fruit and citrus balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish.

It pairs beautifully with dishes such as seared scallops, roast chicken with cream sauce, lobster, or aged Comté cheese, and will develop even greater complexity with a few years of cellaring.
