The 2020 Domenico Clerico Barolo “Bricotto” Bussia is a rare and highly expressive single-vineyard Nebbiolo from the historic Bussia cru in Monforte d’Alba, produced in extremely limited quantities from a small parcel that represents one of the estate’s original holdings.

The 2020 vintage highlights elegance over sheer power, opening with lifted aromas of cherry cola, dried strawberry, rose petal, and hibiscus, layered with delicate spice notes of cinnamon and nutmeg.

On the palate it is refined and structured, with vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins, and a beautifully focused core of red fruit, showing both precision and depth without heaviness.

The texture is silky yet firm, leading to a long, perfumed finish with subtle mineral and savory undertones, reflecting the finesse and pedigree of Bussia.
