A powerful yet polished expression of southern Rhône terroir, the 2020 Cuvée Maxence represents the top selection from Domaine Juliette Avril, crafted from old-vine Grenache with supporting varieties grown on the appellation’s famed galets roulés and sandy soils. The warm, balanced vintage lends both richness and freshness, resulting in a wine of depth and precision.

The nose is immediately expressive, offering ripe black raspberry, kirsch, and plum layered with garrigue, lavender, cracked pepper, and hints of smoked meat. Subtle notes of licorice, cocoa, and warm stone add complexity as the wine opens.
