2020 Alex Gambal Bourgogne Cuvee Les Deux Papis

The "Cuvée des Deux Papis" is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from vines over 50 years old, rooted in a limestone-clay soil. This type of soil lends the wine elegance, complexity, and a pronounced minerality—hallmarks of great Burgundy wines.
Hand harvested. Vinified in stainless steel. Aged 12 mo in oak (25% which are new) gives it vanilla and sweet spices to blend in.

Despite its intensity, the tannins are smooth and velvety, offering a pleasant roundness. The balance between fruit and tannic structure creates a harmonious tasting experience, with a clean and satisfying finish.
