2019 Chateau La Hase, Bordeaux

The 2019 Château La Hase is produced by Domaine Jean-Yves Millaire in Bordeaux near Fronsac, where the family farms biodynamically certified vineyards focused on expressing terroir through minimal intervention winemaking.

Made from 100% Merlot grown on clay soils and vinified in concrete vats before aging on fine lees, the wine offers generous aromas of ripe black fruits, plum, and spice with a supple texture and rounded structure, showing both richness and freshness.

On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with soft tannins and a smooth, approachable finish, making it enjoyable now while still retaining balance. It pairs well with roasted meats, grilled lamb, hearty stews, and aged cheeses, reflecting the classic versatility of approachable Right Bank–inspired Bordeaux.
