2007 Chateau Lafleur

Blend of 53% Merlot and 47% Cabernet Franc, this Chateau Lafleur is an excellent example of Pomerol. 

Château Lafleur’s 2007 exemplifies the estate’s rare finesse in a challenging year. The cool, damp summer demanded precision viticulture, yet the Merlot-led blend matured elegantly on Lafleur’s iron-rich clay soils—yielding a wine marked by refined dark fruit, subtle truffle and leather notes, and balanced structure .

On the palate, the 2007 shows taut acidity supporting fine-grained tannins. It finishes with mineral tension and contemplative length—an understated classic that rewards patient cellaring.
