Cerza Serra - Tradition and passion, with these two words it is possible to identify the work that Francesco and Michele of Cerza Serra do. They continue to produce their traditional wines in limited quantities, intended for a niche market, just as their predecessors did. The production of wines linked to the territory and the family culture, produced with great passion exclusively with native vines.
The winery is in Cosenza, in the Fiego district, and the vineyards occupy approximately 4 hectares of the Donnici Hills, exposed to the South-West, on sandy soil rich in minerals at 500 meters above sea level. They produce just three labels for a total of around 10,000 bottles per year.
TASTING NOTES:
Ruby red color.
Hints of ripe cherry and coffee.
Rich and spicy, with a pleasant savory finish.
