2023 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey La Boudriotte, Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru

The 2023 Pierre‑Yves Colin‑Morey La Boudriotte from Chassagne‑Montrachet Premier Cru is a red Burgundy crafted by Pierre‑Yves Colin‑Morey. The grapes are 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from two parcels  one in La Boudriotte itself and another in Fairendes, where older vines produce small, concentrated berries.

The 2023 vintage marks the first release of this cuvée by the domaine; part of the fruit was vinified as whole clusters layered with destemmed grapes, giving added structure and complexity.

On the nose it shows vivid raspberry and red-berry fruit with depth and purity.

On the palate it is well-built yet refined, with chalky, mineral-tinged tannins, bright acidity, juicy red fruit and a long, poised finish that promises graceful development with age. It’s an elegant wine with both immediacy and cellaring potential   ideal to pair with dishes like roast duck, game birds, mushroom ragù, or simply fine charcuterie.
