Lapati is a truly Georgian spirited project just lightly touched by their French roots. Their 'Super Ravi' sees a native yeast fermentation on whole clusters for ten days in Qveri (amphorae). It ages there before bottling unfined and unfiltered, with no additional added sulfur. With a low abv of 11.4%, it is perfect with a slight chill and will compliment many types of cuisine.
Saperavi is Georgia's most widely recognized red wine grape variety from Kakheti region.
Aromas : Herbal (mint, rosemary, bay leaf), fruit, berries, dried fruit (raspberry, black cherry, plum, blackcurrant, prune, jamminess), and also black pepper, tobacco, sweet spices.
