Portugal in a bottle. The grapes here - Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Alicante Bouschet - start with a co-fermentation in the wine press and ends with foot treading finishing in concrete tanks, then aged in more concrete for 6 months before bottling.
This is all estate fruit and all organic!
Notes of ripe black fruit, plums and cocoa, with touches of spice, on the nose. It's silky, yet a little rustic, with ripe red fruits and minerals on the palate. A juicy, lingering finish.
If you've not had Portuguese red blends before, think of a central or southern Italian red wine. Sheer perfection.
